STEPS Romania 20 to 27 October 2007

There were 8 people in the STEPS October team:

Fiona Pearson (leader), Adam and Stephen Entwistle, Richard and David Hill, and Meg Prowting all from Altrincham; Sue Dean from Stoke and Tim Schofield from Tarvin.

They arrived at the Welfare Centre to find it in thick snow.

The team concentrated on the walls and ceilings of the top floor.  The top floor is a timber construction, and insulation has to be packed into the wall and ceiling cavities before the are finished with plasterboard.

They completed the insulation and nearly completed fitting plaster board to all of the ceilings and walls.   The top floor is now ready for the installation of the central heating system.

The team took Lego which had been donated by many friends.  It is greatly appreciated by the Roma children.
