The ‘Association Fair Play’ Hostel
nThere are
52 children living in the hostel with the minimum of furniture - a bed “ that
is very second hand”.
nThey have
nowhere to wash their clothes and just 4 wash basins.
nThe toilets
are in very poor condition.
nThe
temperature is 15 deg. below freezing in the winter and the heating system is
poor. The glass or plastic in the windows is not adequate to keep the small
rooms warm.
nAs the
rooms are very small, there is no place to gather, to eat or play.
nAll the
food is made in a small room with one 4-burner cooker and one sink.
